Architecture Office is an Edinburgh-based architecture and design studio creating buildings, interiors and objects with clarity, restraint and a strong sense of place.

Our work begins with what is already there: the character of a building, the qualities of its materials and the knowledge of those who make it. Through disciplined decisions about form, proportion and construction, we create calm, precise and characterful spaces designed to endure rather than follow fashion.

Working across Scotland and the wider UK, we undertake projects of varied scales and types, including private homes, residential extensions, workplaces, retail interiors, temporary installations and furniture. Each project is developed through close collaboration with clients, makers and consultants, combining resourceful architectural design with thoughtful detailing and a tactile approach to materials.
